Laotian fine dining restaurant in the UNESCO city of Luang Prabang is seeking for a Sous Chef de Cuisine
The Position:
We are looking for a Sous Chef de Cuisine with experience in a busy restaurant operation. This would be a perfect job for a current strong chef de partie or a sous - chef willing to take the next step or to get a new experience in one of the best restaurant in town.
Overall Scope and Responsibility:
Work alongside with the head chef to manage the daily kitchen activities and take over his duties when he is away. It will includes: overseeing staff, ensuring food quality and freshness, monitoring ordering and stocking, provides quality and consistency by following designated recipes.
Job Duties:
Work with the executive chef to produce great food
Leads the kitchen team during his absence
Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours
Ensure food safety and hygiene at all times
Supervise all food preparation and presentation and check before serving to ensure quality
