THE POSITION
A new restaurant to open in Luang Prabang is looking for a young talented Chef de Cuisine with European cooking skills and a creative mind with previous experience in renowned restaurants. This could be a perfect job for a current Chef de Cuisine or for an ambitious gifted Sous Chef wanting to make a name for oneself.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Willing to be based in Luang Prabang - LAO PDR
Previous Experience in Asia Pacific would be a plus
Willingness to engage for a minimum of 2 years
English Language is mandatory, French and Laotian, Thai would be an advantage.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
The ideal candidate will be flexible and well organized with good managerial skills. Highly developed training and leadership skills, along with the ability to build a strong team are essential. You will have an eye for detail and be pro-active. You are positively spirited and passionate about food, customer driven with a hands-on approach and possess following additional competencies, The Chef is expected to be a good leader and trainer to his team and visible to guests and achieve daily:
Recruit, leads, train and develop the kitchen team
Create dishes and menus
Ensuring food sourcing / freshness /quality
Ensure food safety and hygiene at all times
monitoring ordering and stocking
